Christoph initially attended secondary school and obtained his secondary school leaving certificate in 2011. He then began his training as an industrial clerk. During his training, it quickly became clear that purchasing would be his preferred area for future work. However, as there was initially no suitable vacancy there, he had to take a short detour via the internal sales department. There he was responsible for a number of national and international customers for a short period of time.
From September 2014, Christoph had the opportunity to switch to operational purchasing, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of various raw material suppliers for several years. In 2017, he started an in-service training course to become an industrial business administrator at the IHK in Kempten to further deepen the knowledge he had already acquired.
The chosen format had the great advantage that the subject matter learned at the weekend could already be applied in the company during the week. After successfully completing his training, he was given the opportunity to switch to strategic purchasing. Over the next five years, Christoph was responsible for the strategic management of numerous raw material suppliers and, finally, for logistics and external production.
In his new role at Henze BNP, Christoph is looking forward to getting to know the special features of boron nitride products and supporting the team in the order center with his purchasing expertise.
