Boron nitride sintered components HeBoSint® for the metal atomization

The demand for high-quality metal powders, especially for special alloys, is increasing rapidly. Technologies such as additive manufacturing are enabling ever more complex components with minimal material loss. These possibilities and the growth of high-tech sectors such as aerospace are increasing both the demand and the requirements for the various metal powders.

In order to produce this quality economically, the yield should be as high as possible, scrap should be correspondingly low and long downtimes or maintenance times should be avoided. The excellent thermal shock behavior of boron nitride avoids unnecessary preheating and ensures greater energy efficiency.

The excellent non-wetting behavior prevents clogging and increased wear and thus ensures an unsurpassed service life of the nozzles. 

The low thermal expansion and the precise processing capabilities of our HeBoSint® SL-N 300 enable exact control of the particle size distribution (PSD) and thus increase the quality and yield of the metal powder.
